The health and well-being of our customers is paramount. Once an Intimate Adult Product leaves our Retail Product Showrooms, Ladies Home Party or Online Warehouse, from a hygienic point of view, we are unable to accept it as a return, unless of course it is faulty.
Intimate Adult Products are NOT supplied on a trial basis. Please choose carefully.
GENERAL RETURNS INFORMATION

All returns must be authorised by us BEFORE they are returned.
In the case of faulty goods, please contact us for arrangements regarding replacements.
If you would like to return an item, please contact us by using any of the contact methods listed on our contact page.
DELIVERY:
The charges detailed below are the maximum fees you will pay for delivery.
If the delivery charges turn out to be less than the maximum specified,
your total will be reduced accordingly.
Within Australia
Free delivery for all Internet orders over AUD $150.00 (GST Inclusive). All other orders attract an AUD $10.55 (GST Inclusive) delivery fee per parcel.
Elsewhere
You will be charged an AUD $25 (GST Inclusive) delivery fee for the first parcel for all orders shipped internationally. Additional postage fees apply for any additional parcels. You will be advised of postage fee's at the time of placing your online order - no surprises!

We are required by law to collect applicable taxes on all products and shipments. All prices shown on our website include GST.
PACKAGING:
All items ordered from Love Mechanics are packaged discreetly and sent by Australia Post. Orders within
BATTERIES:
Most products do not came with batteries however…. Love Mechanics will supply the Batteries for all toys that require them for Australian customers.
DETAILED INTIMATE ITEMS RETURNS POLICY
For Adult Toys and Novelties:
We offer a 14 DAY REPLACEMENT WARRANTY for faulty products providing that:
The item is accompanies by the original sale receipt
The item is returned in it's original, undamaged packaging
We will replace the faulty product with the same product however the replacement product colour may vary and is dependant on the availability of identical stock. Where we can not supply the identical product we will offer an exchange for another item of the customer's choice for the same value.
For Lingerie:
We offer a 14 DAY REPLACEMENT WARRANTY for faulty items providing that:
The item label is still attached to the item
The item has not been worn, damaged, soiled or altered in anyway
The item is accompanied by the original sale receipt
The item is returned in it's original, undamaged packaging
We will replace your item with the same item subject to stock availability. Where we can not supply the identical style we will offer an exchange for another item of the customer's choice for the same value.
For DVDs:
We have a 14 DAY REPLACEMENT WARRANTY for faulty DVDs, providing that:
- The DVD is unscratched and without a cracked centre
- The DVD is returned in it's original, undamaged packaging
- The DVD is unscratched and without a cracked centre
- The DVD is returned in it's original, undamaged packaging
A faulty DVD will be exchanged with another DVD title from our in-store selection.
We will check the faulty DVD by test playing the DVD in our in-store DVD player. If the DVD plays in-store the DVD will not be considered faulty.
We do not warranty DVDs if played on Computers Laptops or Play-stations.
Please note, our returns policy does not apply to goods where the purchaser is dissatisfied with the content.
Troubleshooting notes for DVD's:
Before you send back any "faulty" product may we first ask you to follow a few simple testing points as follows.
- Check the movie format of your DVD & if it can be played on your DVD player & television.
- Check if your TV set can receive PAL and NTSC signals.
- Check the zoning of your DVD player and the zoning of the DVD.
NTSC (National Television System Commitee) and PAL (Phase Alternating Line) are Television Broadcast formats. NTSC is used in North America, Japan and South America. PAL is used in Australia, SE Asia, UK and Europe.
Most PAL DVD players and televisions made in the past 5 years or so generally support NTSC playback. This means that they will successfully play DVDs in the NTSC format. However, both the DVD player and the television set must be NTSC capable to allow playback. The ability of X-box and PlayStation games console to playback NTSC format appears to vary from one DVD title to another.
To check if your TV set can receive PAL and NTSC signals, refer to your instruction manual, or ask at the place you bought your TV. If they don't know (which they should), try contacting the manufacturer of your TV set.
Troubleshooting notes for Adult Toys and Novelties:
Before you return a faulty product may we first ask you to follow a few simple testing points as follows.
We find that quite often, there is a simple solution and many seemingly faulty toys can be easily fixed by checking the following:
- Make sure you have the batteries in correctly - this is the most common cause of malfunction.
- Make sure the cap is tightly closed! (Especially for waterproof products)
- Check battery contacts, springs sometimes can compress - extend them a little.
- Check contacts for corrosion a greenish colour on the metal of the battery contact.
For your information:
- Prolonged use or use of Heavy Duty Batteries may result in motor failure due to overheating.
